Industrial photography

Industrial photography is a specialised field of photography that enables businesses to communicate with customers and other businesses through showcasing their industrial processes, machines, products and techniques.

There are two particular skills required for industrial photography. The first is a ‘no compromise’ attitude to safety on site, and the second is to create a great image out of an often bland and dirty location. The exception to this is photographing a new plant where everything should be clean and sparkling!

Safety is the highest priority on industrial sites. I am familiar with on-site inductions and the need to be accompanied as the shoot progress. I always ask about shooting from certain areas on-site before moving there. If the answer is ‘no’, there is no argument! I am equipped with my own set of Personal Protective Equipment and always comply with site and induction requirements. I also have an industry white card to help with site access.

My experience enables me to create images that present your business in the best light. Sometimes this is early in the morning or late in the evening. Special attention is paid to ensure that all occupational and health and safety practices are correct. Aerial and drone photography can enhance your project. Once again these are only undertaken after a detailed safety briefing.

Because of the unique nature of industrial photography, my coverage and prices are tailored to your needs. Please call me on 0411 268 146 or email me to discuss your industrial photography requirements.

I travel throughout Australia, as required, for my clients.
